Maple Grove PD Hopes for Another Record Polar Bear Plunge
News

The Maple Grove Police Department is hoping for another record breaking year with the Polar Bear Plunge event.

Last year more than 940 plungers raised more than $184,000. This year, more than 200 people registered to plunge again, and the plunge is not until February.

MGPD was honored with a plaque due to our fundraising efforts and partnership with Special Olympics MN. This plaque recognized the department as a "guardian of the flame".

The next plunge is Saturday, February 2nd at Fish lake Regional Park. It starts at 1 p.m.
