It's going to be cold and soggy in the metro.

KSTP.com meteorologist Dave Dahl said showers will stick around through Wednesday.

Overnight expect a low of 53 degrees with showers and thunderstorms. On Wednesday the high will be in the upper 50s with more scattered showers.

The Department of Natural Resources lifted burning restrictions in 32 Minnesota counties due to recent wet weather. Restrictions were lifted at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21.

Sri Karunamayi Coming to Maple Grove

A living saint is coming to Maple Grove. Sri Sri Sri Vijayeswari Devi, known as Karunamayi, is visiting the Hindu Temple of Minnesota. This is the third year she is coming, and event organizers expect to draw 500 people when she visits on May 28th and May 29th.

Gov. Mark Dayton has proclaimed this week Emerald Ash Borer Awareness Week in Minnesota.
    
The designation is part of a nationwide effort to raise awareness of the destructive nature of the tree pests, and to spread the word about the "three P's of EAB" - Prepare, Protect, and Plant.
